**APF Nationals is not for first time lifters. Please read the full qualifications below.**

1. Qualifying APF meet has to be completed in 2022 or 2023 prior to APF Nationals. A qualifying meet is any APF, AAPF, WPC or AWPC meet from 2022 or 2023 prior to APF Nationals.

2. OPEN Raw, Classic Raw, Single Ply and Multi Ply Lifters – An Open Division lifter must achieve a minimum Class IV Total in a sanctioned APF / AAPF meet in the previous calendar year, or in the year of Nationals prior to the date of Nationals. For APF Nationals, Open Division lifters must achieve a Class IV Total in the WPC Men’s or Women’s Classification chart for each equipment category.

3. Lifters in the age divisions (Teen, Junior, Sub Masters and Masters) do not need a specific qualifying total, but must have successfully completed an APF / AAPF sanctioned meet, achieving a meet Total, in the previous calendar year, or in the year of Nationals prior to the date of Nationals.

4.  Single-lift competitors (Bench only / Deadlift only) must have a successful lift in an APF / AAPF sanctioned meet in the previous calendar year, or in the year of Nationals prior to the date of Nationals.

Membership:

Open to APF members that meet the requirements. All APF athletes are required to have a valid APF registration card to compete in the sanctioned contest, and must show it at weigh-in. If you fail to bring it, you will be required to purchase one online: http://worldpowerliftingcongress.com

  • Powerlift (Multi-ply), Single-ply Powerlift, Raw Powerlift, Classic Raw Powerlift, Bench (Multi-ply), Deadlift Only (Multi-ply), Single-ply Bench, Single-ply Deadlift, Raw Bench, Raw Deadlift

Divisions:

  • Teen (13-15, 16-17, 18-19), Junior (20-23), Open, Submasters (33- 39), Master (40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65+)

Weight Classes: 

  • Men: 114, 123, 132, 148, 165, 181, 198, 220, 242, 275, 308, 308+
  • Women: 97, 105, 114, 123, 132, 148, 165, 181, 198, 220, 242, 242+

Entry Fee: 

  • $125 per division/contest. $50 for each additional division/contest
  • Deadline, April 15th
  • NO REFUNDS.
  • IF entries are accepted after the deadline of April 15th, there will be a $25 late fee.

Awards:

  • Medals for top 3 per weight class in each division, plus Best Lifter for men/women in categories with 5 or more competitors.

  • Friday Lifters –  Thursday, June 29, 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM or 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
  • Saturday Lifters –  Friday, June 30, 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM or 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM
  • Sunday Lifters – Saturday, July 1, 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM or 4:00 PM – 5:30 PM

Rules:

  • One piece lifting suits (i.e. singlets) must be worn by all APF/AAPF sanctioned competitors

Spectator Fees:

  • $10.00 per day; children under the age of 13 get in free.
